Apply earlyApr 14 2006Psychology
Apply early. I didn't apply until April when I visited with a friend from another college who was here for a soccer tournament. I had a 1430 SAT, a 3.5 GPA, AP classes and was in the magnet program at a magnet high school. I had many quality extra-curriculars and received a Coca-Cola scholarship. I was asked to wait until 2nd semester to come to CU. I was told to attend a local college 1st semester and that I must have a 3.0 GPA to enter Clemson 2nd semester.
SAT: 1430 Female
I didn't do too much to get inFeb 11 2006Biology
I didn't do too much to get in. Make sure that you have AT LEAST ONE of the following: 1000 SAT score (math and verbal) and a 4.0 GPA on the non-weighted scale (about a 3.4 or above on the 4.0 scale). And apply early.
SAT: 1160 Female
Make decentNov 28 2005Political Science
Make decent scores on the SAT and in your coursework in highschool. Allow yourself an adjustment period to the university if you don't immediately join a social greek group. Plan on having fun on gamedays but try to expand beyond that for weekend activities. This college is what you make out of it.
SAT: 1280 Male
Admission to the University is getting more competitiveJun 06 2004Physics
Admission to the University is getting more competitive. Hopefully the campus environment will change as a result, but if this ever happens it will be long after I escape. There are no essays or interviews invovled in the application, and I don't think they much care about the character of the people getting in. If you have above average scores and no ambition or passion (aside from football and alcohol) then you should have no trouble getting in to Clemson.
ACT: 32 SAT: 1500 Male
I had a 3Apr 27 2004Computer Science
I had a 3.1 GPA in high school, and a 1360 on the SAT. I was on the Academic Team, in National Honor Society, and an Eagle Scout. The only problem I had getting in was actually getting my SAT scores to them. It's getting more competitive, but you needn't burden yourself with extra curricular activies in high school just to stand a chance of getting accepted.
SAT: 1360 Male
